after ariel returned to the motherland, angelle and i took off on an adventure. we travelled to a village where she built a house three years ago. we met some lovely people.
and saw some splendid village things.
angelle wanted to find her village family and the house they built together.
she found them.
they dressed me in my first saree.
then we climbed the village mountain and reached a hindu shrine.
we found a sweet little indian family.
they let me hold their baby.
something seemed amiss when the cute little indian family took out their pet chicken. when the family began adorning the chicken with offering powders and sacrifice flowers, we realized the red streaking the temple wasn't paint.
angelle hasn't eaten chicken since.
